Who We Are
The True Jesus Church was established in 1917 in Beijing, China. The early workers, having received the Holy Spirit and revelation of the true gospel, began preaching the truth of salvation to every province of China. The power of God was manifested mightily through the abidance of the Holy Spirit and through accompanying signs and miracles.
Since 1989, believers emigrated from Taiwan have settled in Auckland, and started family gatherings. The Auckland Church was established in 1990 with the increase in the number of believers. They rented venues from school halls for services. The church in Royal Oak was purchased in 1996 and in just a few years, the Word of God flourished here, and the number of believers increased rapidly.
In 2014, East Auckland Church was established to cater for the growth of member numbers in the Auckland region.
